Shapes Tab
This tab contains the Border and Fill settings for a selected frame.
The available settings depend on the object type and they are similar to what you find in popular image editing software.
*Click in the Border and Fill header to open the settings panel.
Assign Shape button
You can assign shapes to text, image and shape frames. The button opens the Select Shape dialog where you can choose the shape you want to apply to the object. See “Assign a shape to Text, Images and Shapes”.
The following properties can be set:
Border
These options depend on the frame type of the object you want to assign a shape to.
Weight
Color
Style (Normal, Inset, Outset)
Join (Miter, Round, Bevel)
Corner Radius
Overprint border
Fill
Color: Choose a color from the drop-down list. Choosing Custom activates the Edit button. Click the Edit button to create a new color using the color sliders.
Overprint fill
Drop Shadow
Opacity
Color: Choose a color from the drop-down list. Choosing Custom activates the Edit button. Click the Edit button to create a new color using the color sliders.
X, Y
Blur
Opacity
Blend Mode
Normal
Multiply
Darken
Difference
Hardlight
Lighten
Overlay
Screen
Inset (left, right, top, bottom)
The insets inside a text or image frame.
